I am hoping to get much-needed supplies for our special education classrooms. Due to a major staffing shortage, we have had to take on another program at our school and I would like to provide our students with the tools and experiences they need to keep them progressing, engaged, and safe. These supplies will help our students stay engaged, stay on schedule and learn much-needed social and life skills. A big part of our program is helping students learn how to be independent and learn how to identify strong emotions and learn to deal with them in a healthy way. The games and activities on this list help with identifying and verbalizing big feelings and also help the students take a "brain break" and deescalate when they are feeling upset. There are also other items included that will help make our classroom a more comfortable place for learning.
