Science is vitally important to all because it's a part of every aspect of daily living, whether we think about it or not. Life is easier, faster or safer in some way all because of the world of science. Scientific knowledge helps us appreciate the world from a microscopic to a macroscopic level. My goal each year is to give students hands-on learning experiences to help them appreciate biological and physical sciences in a way that they before had not. Whether they are those who've loved science for as long as they can remember or the ones who hate to even think of the word science, I aim to grab their interest in some way!
