The sun setting behind the hills, a swarm of students surrounded in colored powder, the senior class arrayed on a field. Drone footage is increasingly used in entertainment and news. Often, students want to emulate these shots and are unable because of a lack of equipment. Students will use the drones to shoot aerial footage of the school, sporting events, and short films. Having a drone available would open up the students' ability to tell stories and generate compelling content. Camera equipment usage is a critical skill for video production and a drone would round out the students' experience and give them a leg up over the competition.

About my class
