The best way to grow as a reader is simple....you need to READ more. We are eager to cultivate life long readers and when students have access to high quality texts each and everyday we are more likely to see avid readers form. Students go "book shopping" each week and are able to borrow the texts from the teacher library. In order to spark a love of reading we need to have books KIDS want to read. Students are excited when they have access to relevant texts that mirror the world around them.

About my class
