Most of these products will be used for STEAM activities including engineering design and art. Engineering is one of the new NGSS standards for 5th grade. I will use the STEM kits to help students use problem solving and collaboration skills. I love teaching them the concept of redesigning when working on an engineering project. These skills are very 21st century necessary skills for students to practice. I also included some classroom items (chairs and cushions) for those students who find it difficult to sit in regular classroom chairs all day. I know they will appreciate them!
