These leveled readers will build the foundational skills needed to be successful readers and build the confidence they need to charge forward. Many of these students have been put in a "limbo-like" state in their education and will need added resources to help them be ready for the starting line. When students have opportunities to read books together, it helps them build reading strategies and creates a classroom community that develops meaningful shared experiences, encouraging them to make connections to the world around them.

About my class
