The students (K-2)will be able to demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes). The educational support my students will be given through the www.donorschoose.org project is significant, as we live in a rural low socio economic area. The games and tools purchased will support the student in their reading foundational skills to become self-sufficient readers this year and in the years to come. The more hands-on activities we have to enhance their learning experience the better. Building the reading foundations for my students is the top priority.
