Our classroom is based on a token economy where every student has a job and each receives a weekly allowance. They can choose to save or spend their allowance at a class store made up of coupons for various rewards, one of which is 15 minutes Tablet Time. The perfect way to make tablet time a postitive tech experience is to pair a Fire tablet with Osmo games. Osmo changes the way kids collaborate, create, think critically and communicate. With the addition of Fire tablets and Osmo kits, our classroom will have an exciting blended learning mode for building core learning skills — from math, to reading, to coding and creativity! Whether students are using the tablets with Osmo as a reading station, a math station, during STEAM time, or as a reward purchased with their allowance they will have fun while learning and will gain confidence in learning, and life.
