My students are highly motivated in learning to improve their reading skills and become better readers. The items from this project will help them at school and at home to continue to have a love of stories and reading. These activities will help my students thrive and blossom into confident lifelong readers. Developing a love of reading has been a lifelong passion of mine. Encouraging my students' reading skills and teaching them what they need will further enable my students to be successful in their continued educational goals. RF.1.(3) Phonics and Word Recognition Skills RL.1.10 With prompting and support, read prose and poetry of appropriate complexity for grade 1. RI.1.10 With prompting and support, read informational texts appropriately complex for grade 1.
