"Tell me and I will forget. Teach me and I will remember. Involve me and I will learn." Children learn best by doing. I am hoping to create a more engaging classroom environment for my students by providing them with hands on learning experiences. I want my students to become life long learners. One way of doing that is by helping to have enjoyable learning experiences. If students are actively involved in their learning, they will have a better of retaining information. Our community has been through a lot over the last couple of weeks with recovery efforts from hurricane Ida still underway. Having a enjoyable learning environment will help to get student's mind off of the problems they may be facing at home.
