This iPad/pen will allow students a device to make up missing work and for one on one/small group demonstrations of new concepts. For instance, when teaching about cells, it will allow me to pull up web demonstrations and present them to small group/individual students. This device will also be used by students when presenting research on cells, climate change and body systems. Many times the students need a touch device to complete their cell projects, and the Chromebook doesn't allow for this. This iPad/pen will help them understand and create these projects.
Many students are absent due to COVID protocols. The headphones will allow these students to make up work that requires sound (quizzes, tests, and assignments). Most of my students don't have ear buds (which would be too hard for me to clean). These head phones will allow them to keep up to date on their missing work when they return.
The iPad/pen, and headphones will benefit students in one on one teacher instruction and work completion.
