The students in my class will be working in small groups throughout the day to collaborate on their reading and writing. An important skill my students are developing is being able to read words and letter sounds. They are also working in small groups to write words by understanding the sounds they hear. My students are in need of seating and materials in their classroom which will support them in maintaining focus to develop these skills. Having opportunities for movement using the wiggle chairs, and being able to collaborate together in their learning through access to phonics games will support my students to reach their goals.
