I work in a school where most of my students are learning English as their second language. As an ELA teacher I want to supply them with books that they really want to read. When you find a series that sparks that love for reading it makes such a huge difference. With Covid how the Media Center works at our school has changed and they do not get as many opportunities to check out books. This is why I want to build up my classroom library with things that my students are interested in now. These books will get my students so excited to read again and having the whole series will keep them wanting more all year long.
