Our art room was closed for one year and was on a hybrid program where some students were in class and some were at home the last school year. Adequate supplies were not ordered as they were not easy to share from home and school. Since then all of our supplies have been depleted and new supplies have been very hard to come by. I took this long term sub position so the kids would have art this year as there was no one available to fill this position. I am a professional artist, and wish to share as many hands on projects with the 440 students in my elementary school. Most of my kids come from low income families and for some this is the first time they will do an art project. These supplies I am requesting to be funded are the basic staples of any art classroom. These supplies will help my kids experiment, plan and create art.
