I am requesting a storage unit. My students need to easily get their choice of toy or manipulative off the shelf and when done return it independently. Hurricane Ida destroyed all my storage units. When children can tidy up after themselves it provides them with responsibility and accountability. Right now we are using cardboard boxes and it is difficult for the students to see what they would like to choose. My students show respect for their peers when they clean up after themselves. The cubby units enable us to make it easy and appealing to the eye as well.
