With these books, students will be able to play a role in their own learning process by choosing books that speak to them. This may be because characters are relatable, or the topics relate to current instruction. They will not only expand their knowledge, but practice explicit comprehension and decoding strategies necessary for reading as they progress into further grades! I know with your help, they can succeed!
