Our school uses an online curriculum and my students find it difficult to stay engaged all day. I added flex seating and a carpet to my wish list in hopes to get my students moving and out of their seats. I have no windows in my classroom and a concrete floor. The rug would help to center my students and get them out of their desks. I also asked for black lights to engage my students in blacklight lessons. This also would encourage students to actively participate and increase enjoyment in class. We have quite a large class this year and I am finding it challenging to keep students organized. I asked for baskets and a mailbox system to help keep student work organized. I find students work better in an organized environment. I also would like to keep better track of data while walking around the room. Being able to have a tablet, would be a quick, easy, cordless way to make notes and track data without needing to be attached to a computer.
