We give students Common Formative Assessments weekly to check the status of their learning. This allows the teacher to either reteach or move on with new standards. By allowing the students to use these desk shields, they'll be able to sit in the same seats without disruption. These shields will alleviate the loss of class time. Also, we won't have to move their desks each week. Students are anxious enough during test days and this will hopefully reduce stressors and provide a more accurate score. I've been making these shields for the past 7 years and they are not durable and just about on their way out.
