Looming different projects opens the door for me to teach students the history of each item and a part of their rich culture. My students' creativity will be fostered as they learn how to make medicine pouches, hat bands, and bracelets. The beading aspect allows them the artistic creativity to design their project as it also grows each student's fine motor skills. These skills help them with hand eye coordination, fosters independence, encourages creativity, and builds confidence. This will also be a step in helping to build a bridge between our school and the community.

About my class
