Providing students with opportunities to sit on wobble seats is a strategy to help students channel extra energy or anxiety into their chair so that their minds can focus! Returning to in-person learning post quarantine has been a significant challenge for many students. Having to sit still in a seat during classes has caused anxiety for students who have a surplus of energy that they need to channel! Flexible seating empowers student to choose a seat that will suit their learning needs! This helps prevent students from engaging a behaviors that otherwise would distract from their learning and the learning of others. Any opportunity to give students a choice in their learning preferences helps them to feel valued and engaged in their success!
