The plan is for this item to track the students' progress during a running/walking program. The iPad will be loaded with software that charts their laps that are associated with a physical QR code. More specifically, the students will each be given a physical card with a QR code on it that is connected to the software program that is loaded onto the iPad. When the students complete a lap, they are to scan their card on the iPad and continue on more laps. The iPad will chart progress/mileage and rewards are handed out accordingly. Furthermore, the iPad will also act as an incentive to work for as a learning tool loaded with learning applications.
