All of these materials will be used to create interactive and engaging activities that allow students to learn mathematical content in an active way, rather than the traditional passive, lecture method. I will use the rulers in my geometry class for any graphing activities. We currently do not have rulers and my students are either connecting points with squiggly lines or using notebook edges. I will use the scissors for activities that require cutting and pasting (like interactive notebook pages). I will get full use out of the cardstock paper for any activities that I want to reuse in the future. For example, I often use task cards and it will be so efficient to use cardstock and the laminator so I can reuse the task cards and other like activities.
