Students sit in the same, slightly uncomfortable, seats all day long the goal of this project is to give them the option to choose where they sit! I believe giving students as much freedom in the classroom allows them to grow to be more independent and self-sufficient! By allowing them to sit anywhere and however they'd like; on the floor, leaned on the wall, legs supported by another chair, students will be much more engaged! By giving students the option to choose their seating arrangements, we allow them to be in control of part of their learning environment! Which only makes students excited and prepared to learn. Not only will students be active participants in their learning environment but they will also be doing so COVID safe! These extra seating options allow for more social distancing and the mask adds to that safety!
