Did you ever wish you could meet the dinosaurs or fly to the moon? Did you ever wonder what it would be like to swim amongst the fish in the ocean, or camp under the stars? If you invest in our classroom you could help us to make these experiences possible. Through the power of pretend play, students are able to immerse themselves in a world of possibilities. Students are given opportunities to extend their learning in new and creative ways; building upon what they learn in class and solidifying content knowledge through meaningful play. Pretend play lends itself to a host of important developmental skill-building opportunities such as language development, social-emotional skills, and critical thinking/problem-solving skills. Our classroom is full of young, creative learners. We enjoy learning through imaginative play and as teachers we are happy to facilitate these positive learning experiences for our students.
