Students have limited resources at home. These books and materials will be helpful for them to practice the skills they need to be lifelong readers. Most of my families have limited opportunities to travel to the public library so these books will go a long way to help them read. They need manipulatives at home and books to practice with outside of school. My students want to be better readers. They don't have the books or materials at home to practice with so I am asking for this project to be funded. We are a Title I school with many families in need of assistance for basic needs. With this Donors Choose project, it is my hope that we can get materials for them to use to further their education.
