Basic materials like pencils and glue help my students daily to work in our interactive notebook. We create foldables and one pagers with excellent pictures and summaries. My students love to write their opinions on historical events and draw pictures depicting them! They take their drawings and one pagers and mini books and glue them into their interactive notebooks. This notebook is a constantly changing way for them to have all the information they need in one place. It's a creative way for them do activities and have access to them all year. My student helpers and myself are constantly needing to cut paper to add information or projects to their student notebooks. The paper cutter would really help with that. I often get inspiration and ideas for lessons and projects for my students online. Teachers Pay Teachers is such an excellent resource-- teachers have long been borrowing amazing ideas from each other and now it's been made so much easier! A gift card would help me purchase the larger lessons that cost money.
