Students coming into my office hungry is becoming far to common. It has been proven that students who are hungry often fall below grade level and are at a increased risk of being held back. When a child does not know where their next meal is coming from they often struggle to stay caught up in all subjects. Having snacks readily available for students who need a pick me up will help allow our students to stay focused and stay in school. When my students are hungry they know I always have a variety of snacks on hand to help them get through the day. Masks and Clorox wipes are also an essential during these trying times. Having masks and keeping our school clean allow our students to stay in school and continue learning. Thank you for caring about my kiddos and helping them stay full and healthy.
