Giving students choices is very important to me. By providing students with different types of books, they will be able to pick and read books that they are truly interested in. When students have more choices and a say in what books they would like to read, their enjoyment and love for reading will continue to grow. With these new books, my students will be able to read independently or in small literature circle groups at their own grade level. By choosing books they are interested in, and getting real books in the hands of my students, they will continue to grow in reading.
