I intend to utilize these books to as classroom incentives for children to earn & take home to enrich literacy libraries at home. I believe that a love of books starts at home when children read with their families and that is hard to do when many children don't have books at home. Book ownership impacts childhood literacy more than any other factors including education level of parents. The more books that I can place on the homes of children, the more I feel like we can combat the literacy gaps. With Covid continuing, kids will have access to more reading material at home.
