These materials will be used in the classroom to focus on characters and themes, as well as teach them about the world around them, through the stories we read. Students will also use the books to study sequence and major events, which will provide example for them that they will use in the writing process. Reading helps to develop and improve students' language and communication skills. Having access to as many books and tools as possible, that are relatable to them, that will assist them in developing these skills, will make reading more fun and exciting for all of my students.
