My students and I have had terrific discussions on real world topics ranging from the importance to voting, to common traits of influential leaders, as well as to our environmental impact on our world. These magazines and resources will give my curious students access to engaging, high interest materials to further expose them to real world events. This will enable me to build their critical skills and facilitate their journey to being actively engaged global citizens. These resources will also allow me to provide my students with reading materials at their level as many of my students are reading 1 - 2 grade levels below their peers.

About my class
