Since returning to the building I am trying to engage my students as much as possible. Teaching reading and math small groups in all grades K-5, to close the academic gap due to Covid, is no small task! Last year, due to virtual learning, students missed hands on access to math manipulatives and small group reading enrichment. Common Core Standards for my students range from kindergarten Letter & number recognition all the way to fifth grade reading comprehension & story problem mastery. These ELA resources and math manipulatives will allow my students hands on, visual learning that will greatly improve the rate they excel as we strive to close the gap.
