My first grade students are full of imagination and play. They want to create and use their hands while learning. These Lego sets will encourage them to turn their ideas into concrete objects. They will enhance the curriculum that is already used in our classroom, as well as allow the students to have a personalized learning experience. Donating to this project will enhance the student learning in my classroom by allowing students to personalize projects and use their imagination. This will be an opportunity for students to become creators and collaborators. One Lego set is just a set of letters. This will help students who still struggle in Phonics and are still feeling the effects of Covid learning. Another set focuses on story telling and will help in comprehension. And another set is full of STEAM activities. All these will enhance student learning and give them an opportunity to have a fun way to bridge some learning gaps. These Lego sets will help in Language Arts, Phonics, Steam, and Math. Thank you!
