With the tools in this project, students will have access to hundreds of digital reading resources, read aloud tools, games, interactive media, science experiments, audio of long-dead historical figures, hands-on art tools, and so much more. By incorporating these Amazon Fire tablets into our centers rotation, students will be free to explore technology in a safe, secure environment that encourages them to embrace the educational benefits of technology and access materials otherwise outside of their grasp, whether for financial reasons, reading abilities, or degree of mastery of the material. These tools will provide an essential scaffold to bring students closer together both in achievement and in their relationships.
