Students will be able to more easily move around for group projects. Many studies show that students learn best by teaching and being taught by peers. These seats will be easier to move around. Students who are larger sized will not need to lose their dignity by being forced to sit in seats that are too small for their bodies. My students come in all shapes and sizes and the traditional chair attached to the desk is simply too restrictive for teenagers who, although they are still children, have the bodies of grown ups. Especially post-covid -- who didn't gain some weight? Every BODY need to be appreciated.
