How long can you handle sitting in one spot before you space out or get antsy? For kindergarteners that is not very long. At 5 and 6 years old students are very wiggly and need to move to help their minds focus. Currently In my classroom I only have normal chairs which several students struggle to stay seated in for more then a couple minutes. Having alternative seating options can give those wiggly students a chance to move while they work. I know I personally need to move or fidget with something when I'm sitting for an extend period of time. Alternative seating is especially useful for students with special needs. I have personally seen how useful this can be in classroom and would appreciate any help you can give. Thank you!
