Students get to use paint and other materials to try different approaches when creating art. Allowing students multiple approaches to creating artwork gives them more opportunity for success because they are able to find a medium that works best for them. This is really important in art because so many of my students have varying ability levels. By differentiating the approach all of my students have the opportunity for being successful in the art room. The art room should be an enjoyable place where students feel they can experiment and be successful.

About my class
