Words like in, on, between, and more are found every day in books; yet children with hearing loss or those with language delays may miss out on incidental learning opportunities. Help me implement one story a week to highlight an everyday word through books and peer language models for my students with hearing loss. I can introduce and practice the word "want" 50 times during therapy once a week, but if 15 other peers are all using the word "want" 50 times a day, my student WILL have the chance to learn and acquire language in a meaningful way.
