Our typical school day consists of a lot of time meeting and learning on the floor and then moving around the room to apply the lessons taught. Our school is in a state where the funding has been cut, so a lot of our supplies are either coming from parent donations or out of our own pockets to help meet the needs of our students. My students love to read! We can't get enough great stories to inspire us and to help us learn. Our classroom is in desperate need of some new books. We love to read by ourselves, in groups and with partners. Help us fill our classroom with great fiction and non-fiction books that will encourage lifelong reading. Having high interest books available at each student's reading level facilitates mastery of our Nevada Academic Content Standards. We can't wait to see where our books will take us and what fun adventures we will go on.
