I teach STEM related lessons and project based learning in a cross curricular setting. I integrate language arts standards into NGSS standards with a focus on information text, vocabulary, speaking and listening, and writing to authentic audiences. The materials I chose will allow the students to collaborate and participate in learning beyond the traditional curriculum. Students have the opportunity to strengthen their social interactions through hands on experiences and real world experiences such as improving our garden and creating a biome museum for other students to visit. (RI.2, W.2, SL.2)

About my class
