The book, "Lions of Little Rock," will be our next class read-aloud. My hope is that each student will have access to a copy. It will make a significant difference in my students' learning because students will be able to hear the text being read aloud as well as be able to visually follow along. I have a range of diverse learners and I feel every student would benefit from a copy of the book. I am passionate about literacy and giving students confidence in their reading abilities. Having a copy of the book means I can have small group discussions; this gives me the opportunity to be able to dig deeper into skills that will help me understand what my students truly know and what my students need.
