SS.K.13-Ways students & families are alike & different across cultures. SS.K.15-Compare/contrast rules from different places/cultures. By donating to this project, you will help my students engage in hands-on learning that they would otherwise be unable to experience due to lack of materials and Covid restrictions. The necessary supplies will help keep our students in school. The games requested will give students the opportunity to count and learn math while playing. The alligator/ letter games will allow students to each have their own materials while learning to spell and read CVC words. The copy paper and zip bags will allow me to make materials to bridge school and home learning. The Lysol wipes will allow students to learn good habits of cleaning up and keeping our room as germ free as possible. These supplies are limited in our schools and asking families for donations would be an added burden. I have personally supplied paper, wipes and zip bags but they are used quickly. The multi cultural books will speak to the diverse population in the classroom. The chair pockets will allow students to keep items separated and accessible. In this time of Covid where no sharing is allowed; it is a challenge to store items intended for individual student use. Kindergarten children are learning how to access material in good times, in these unprecedented times it is an added challenge. These supplies would truly benefit my classroom and students and they would be greatly appreciated.
