I plan to use the items I chose for my Donor's Choose Project to help elementary school students properly deal with their fluctuating emotions. Many of these resources directly teach positive coping skills and ways to regulate their emotions. As an elementary school counselor I work with many students who have experienced a tumultuous life and I want to help give these students the tools they need. It is my hope that having more social-emotional resources in my arsenal will help me quickly connect with students and show them there are strategies we can use to get through hard times and challenging emotions.

About my class
