Technology is utilized for majority of the classroom instruction. Headphones play a major role for students needing text to speech and for those who are developing readers. Currently students are using their chromebooks without headphones which creates a distracting amount of background noise. Many students have a hard time staying focused without any distractions, and when you add 28 chromebooks without noise control, it can get out of control. Having a class set of headphones will create an effective learning environment for every student. Students will have minimal distractions, which will increase focus on their school work.
