I want microscopes because students are able to understand abstract concepts of cells and microorganisms and it comes to life. Students are able to use the visuals to help them understand and make connections with their assignments and tests. With microscopes, students are able to use this equipment for years to build on their learning. Students will be able to see the microorganisms that live in our bodies, on our bodies, in the foods we eat, and in the air we breathe. The look on their faces as they learn is awesome! I also want my future engineers to learn how electricity works and why it's important in our lives. They will have the chance to learn about series circuits versus parallel circuits. The sense of wonder shines through with hands-on learning opportunities.
