My 4th-6th graders will create a design and carve it out of a linoleum block. This process of carving is fun, calming, and enjoyable, especially for the students who prefer 3D projects. They will learn how to roll ink with a brayer and create a print. The feeling of pulling a print for the first time is something I know they will never forget! I want to bring my passion into the classroom and bring it to life for my students. In college, printmaking was where I excelled. I took two semesters learning all about the various types of printmaking techniques. I would love to share this with my art students.
