My Kindergarteners are learning to practice more their phonemic awareness skills, they are learning to segment and blend sounds in words. I wanted to support more their developing skills through adding leveled books and reading manipulatives in our classroom library. My students have the passion for reading, if I will have enough resources to increase their reading motivation and engagement I can promote more the importance of reading to my students and their families. If our wish will be granted, I can provide an opportunity where students can borrow books and take books home to stimulate reading beyond the classroom.
