With new books and a new look, our classroom will make all students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. They are so happy to be back in person, and I want to keep that determination going. These materials that I am requesting will support many fift grade ELA standards. The books I have chosen will cover all reading literature standards, language, and writing (RL5.1-10, L.5.1-3, W.51-3). These materials will allow children to make connections to help them comprehend stories and write narrative and opinion pieces. With new furniture, I plan to use as incentives for students to work in pairs or small groups.
