The lined whiteboards will help my primary students with letter formation practice and with closing COVID-related gaps in writing; adressing standards W1.1, W1.2, and W1.3. The small group math resources will help students close COVID-related gaps in mathematical learning and address standards 1.OA.1, 1.OA.2, 1.OA.5, 1.OA.6, 1.NBT.1, and 1.NBT.4. I will utilize them to conduct small group mathematics interventions and support to all learners. The microphone will support student speaking and listening (1.SL.1) and address the difficulty of projecting voices over masks. The bird books and figurines will help students build deep knowledge about the topic of birds during our bird unit and support visual arts integration when students practice scientific drawing (1-LS1-1). Lastly, the seat pockets will help with minimizing classroom transition time, increasing instructional time, and limiting sharing of materials, which helps with maintaining COVID safety protocols.
