Many of my students are at varying levels of learning and require individualized instruction. Having headphones will allow for personalized intervention without auditory stimuli potentially bothering students working on other learning. Additionally, my class has many English language learners that would benefit from a combination of audiobooks in combination with visual instruction and physical manipulatives. My kids are also enthusiastic readers but their voice levels do not always represent their enthusiasm so a microphone will help my students that enjoy reading out loud be loud enough for other students to understand. This will allow our class to continue to cultivate a love of reading while ensuring all students can clearly hear and understand their classmates. I'm also asking for flexible seating options to accommodate my diverse learners and increase student engagement. The products I chose will give my students more options than the traditional school desk or the floor. When kids are stressed or uncomfortable, it is difficult to retain information and engage in their learning. Flexible seating allows students to advocate for their own space and their own learning during independent work time or group activities. I believe it will help me continue to mold strong and empowered scholars!
